Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive assessments using formal and informal tools to evaluate strengths and areas of growth.

  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that promote functional independence and positive outcomes for clients.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions for fine motor skills, sensory processing, motor coordination, handwriting, feeding, and more.

  • Offer education, guidance, and consultation to clients, caregivers, and professionals to maximize therapeutic carryover and outcomes.

  • Collaborate with the team to create individualized care plans, coordinate services, and discuss caseload management.

  • Document treatments accurately and maintain client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and clinic standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Must hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Licensure: Current Missouri License through the Missouri State Board of Healing Arts and certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

  • Experience: Pediatric experience is required.

  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

  • Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.

  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and stand for long periods. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

  • Transportation: Reliable transportation is required.
